South Dakota's capitol in Pierre was completed in 1910 and has since undergone complete refurbishing. It has been deemed one of the nation's most fully restored capitols . The state fish--walleye--is the most sought-after game fish in South Dakota. Walleye populate all four Missouri River reservoirs and many of South Dakota's glacial lakes.
