 February 2012 Newsletter

 Greetings,

The February meeting will be held at the 3M plant in Brookings on Tuesday February 21st at 7:00 PM

With the changing face of the dairy industry throughout the country come new challenges in the field of stray voltage.  Furthermore the recent decision of the Bel Brand Cheese Company to locate a plant in Brookings will only encourage the expansion of the dairy industry in our region.

We have asked Jerry Lush to give a presentation on stray voltage at the February meeting. Jerry has been a stray voltage consultant for over 30 years and has been involved with many stray voltage investigations throughout the country during his career. He will be able to share with us some of the experiences and findings he has encountered during many of his investigations in the field.

Course approval with the commission will be taken care of for this class. Two hours of “non-code.”
